Sordo is the only winery making eight individual Barolo cru wines. The wines all show distinctive style and because of it winemaking technique, allowing the Cru to express its style and deliver the quality as it age.
The family owns 53 hectares of vines in Barolo and Roero. Roero is the source of the Langhe Bianco. And all of the Barolos spend two years in botte and are vinified exactly the same way, so as to express the vineyard.
The eight cru wines are: Ravera, Monvigliero, Villero, Parussi, Rocche di Castiglione, Monprivato, Perno and Gabutti
